Occupy Richmond: Bulldozered

A little after 12:00AM October 31, 2011, Occupy Richmond was met with bulldozers after receiving a warning to clear out, at Kanawha Plaza. Ransacking the protesters camp, and arresting. Protester says at least ten people have been arrested. Police allowed the protesters to take some of the stuff from the camp, but not all of it, according to the camera operator. Police also removed the food tents. There were at least eighty tents according to another person.

Police also kicked out the homeless, says camera operator.

Occupy Denver: Police Line Up

Occupy Denver is currently "in stand off" with local police. It's unclear what is going on at the moment, other than the police have appeared to be lining up along the sidewalk, and telling them to get back on the sidewalk if they attempt to step off to go past the police.

Protesters are interacting with the police as they stand in the line. The police are also interacting back with the protesters.

Occupy Rochester: Early Morning Arrests

This morning October 29, 2011, estimated 1:00AM-2:00AM, Rochester protesters were greeted by police for arrest.

Camera operator:

Police Chief David Moore and his cronies, are coming in to arrest the third Occupy Rochester protester - Let's see who they'll pick this time.

The crowd chants "Shame, Shame, Shame" as the police lead off a protester.

Ken Braley(*), the camera operator's colleague was also arrested. The protesters chant "Ken, we love you" as he is lead to the van.

Occupy Oakland: Police Brutality

Occupy Oakland is facing more dangerous issues from the police as they attempt to progress their protests. Receiving multiple tear gas, and rubber bullets protesters are targeted for dismantle. Occupy Oakland, among many other note that the protesters have been peaceful and have not provoked any type of violence.

Videos, which have been uploaded to YouTube show the police disrupting attempts of retrieving injured protesters.

Bernie Sanders: Conflicts of Interest at the Fed

Senator Bernie Sanders discusses some of the Federal Reserve conflicts of interest, as well as some of the structure that would fit better.


It's people from huge financial institutions that set on the Fed board that regulate themselves.

Occupy Baltimore: Convention Center & Closing Bank Accounts

Reading through some of the discussions Occupy Baltimore has, one mentioned a conversation with an employee of Bank of America. They noted that the people working at these local branches are apart of the 99 percent, and these banks, because of time frames mostly have to refuse service to a big lot of people.

Kayleigh went onto say that if you walk in one at a time and request to close your account, they will gladly do so. Others pointed out that standing in a group outside and individually walking in would be playing by their rules.

Today at 4:00PM they will be joining the Convention Center workers. They say since they've had 5% to 16% wage cuts, and they are protesting to restore those wages. Held at Baltimore Convention Center, corner of Charles and Pratt.

Occupy Cumberland: In-person with the Protesters

A small protest at this moment, Occupy Cumberland has been taking place for about around three weeks. Today I was able to visit, and get answers with them.

According to Mike (green shirt), he's tired of the corruption of the government, and the jobs that have been disappearing. Also wanting the money to be put back in the correct places, to the people that work for to provide for themselves, and their families.

Kevasaurus (brown shirt), says that the people traveling by have been supportive through waving, honking their horns. He'd like to see more people have better opportunity.

Art (sitting down), believes that people should be entitled to voice their opinions when they want. Whether in protest or regular conversation.

Ona, the daughter  of Kevasaurus, believes in fair pay and also wants corporations out of government, and to restore power to the citizens, and not the banks.


So far there has been an average of fifty to sixty people over the course of three weeks Occupying at the corner of N Central St, and Frederick St., on the block of City of Cumberland Information. According to their Facebook page, they've had almost up to twenty protesters. The protesters also say that the the police have been showing some support, and some have sounded their sirens a few times, but no arrests or violence yet.

Occupy Morgantown: No Arrests, or Violence

Occupy Morgantown, West Virginia has been at Monogalia County Courthouse, so far with no arrests or violence, according to Jerry Causby.

Assumed organizer of Occupy Morgantown, Causby, has been actively initiating general assemblies, and also scheduling with peers the agenda throughout the week. Wednesday, they will be at the County Commissions office proposing a petition to change the ruling of no structures on the square property. Passing this petition would enable weatherproof areas for the protesters, according to a newsletter sent.

Occupy Wall St.: Additional Video of Citibank

Here is an additional video of what happened within Citibank. Protesters gathered around sharing their concern of debt. Many appeared to be recording the incident.

Day 29, October 15, 2011 - Global Day

3:00PM

Today is the day that has been dubbed Global Day of Action. Many around the globe are taking approaches to their local community to progress change.

Occupy Wall St. appears to have a whole day planned. It started at 11:00AM EST, with a march to the banks. Caught live on camera, protesters are outside of Citibank. Arrests have been made, OWS' website says at least 22. Some of the protesters were inside the building attempting to close their accounts.

Washington Square according to OWS' website has reached around four thousand, while Liberty square is around three thousand.

NYPD Strikes A Protester

In a Victory march lead by protesters, an officer attacked a protester who was walking by in the street. It does not appear that this person did anything to provoke the officer. According to Gothamist the officer knocked his earring out.









In this next video, you will be able to see the other angle of the cop approaching the protester, then going forward. From this angle, it is not clear if the man was hit.

Occupy Wall St.: NYPD Arrests & Bike Run Over

Marching in Zucotti Park, things went a different way with involving scooters into the mix. It's not clear what happen before-hand of this, but a man was run over by the bike on his foot.

Also with what appears to be a bypasser or protester that is being arrested, while another in a suit (unidentified) holds a woman back.

Occupy Boston: 200 Ready for "assault"

The live stream for Occupy Boston is showing tons of police, and protesters from an angle. It's hard to tell what is happening clearly, however many are reporting that the cops are beating on the protesters. Some are saying they are tearing down tents.

2:02AM(EST): Tons of arrests reported, and also the camera operator has witnessed arrest. Outside the second camp he remains, he's been standing there watching the Boston transit and state police clear off the camp. There appears to be no protests left, and protesters have been drove away in the paddy wagons, says the camera operator.

2:07AM(EST): Two protesters have been appearing to argue within the camera operator's hearing range. It's not clear what they are continuing to say, but from what I gathered one told the other to go say "arrest me" to the cop's face. Some parts of the video were dropping out. I assume they walked away, because they faded out.

The police have also either ordered, or the sanitation department is throwing away all the protesters' signs, tents, and other possible items.

2:23AM(EST): A video on the ground of Boston Police saying to leave because they are found to be trespassing, and unlawful assembly. Police then continue to arrest. One person is saying the owner of the park authorized Occupy Boston to camp in both sites, but this cannot yet be confirmed.












Camp site 1 appears to not be bothered so far.

4:35AM(EST): Things have appeared to have been settling down. The Police have also cleared the other camp.

5:56AM(EST): 1 incident of believed police brutality, but cannot yet be confirmed. Around 100 to believed arrested. A person (unknown) has reported that the police are taking any items used to record the protest.

Occupy France: For the 15th

Occupy France, which appears to have cities Pau, Toulouse, Perpignan, La Rochelle, Grenoble, Paris, and many more (according to Meetup) setting up Occupys to either show support for Occupy Wall St. and child, or protest against local issues (it's unclear at the moment if they are protesting against local issues, please correct).

Occupy Paris had a meeting on October 8, 2011, their General Assembly, to discuss expression of support for Occupy Wall St., that there will be no violence, and to take pictures and video, plus many more. They also discussed October 15, 2011 which will be what some other Occupys will be protesting in unison. Occupy Paris said that they will march to City Hall at 5:00PM.

Also accepting donations, posters, and ideas, Occupy Paris hopes to collect many more marchers.

They also plan on meeting up on the October 13, 2011 at the cafe Vaudeville, 29 Rue Vivienne.

Occupy Cincinnati: Police Chose Not to Arrest

Last night with their protester march, Occupy Cincinnati occupied at Fountain Square. Police originally told protesters if they did not leave at 1:00AM they would be arrested. Some choose to walk around.

Come 4-5:00AM, police asked the protesters marching on the sidewalks to lower the noise, and 10 protesters remained in the park, ignoring officers' request to leave.

The police eventually chose not to arrest anyone. At 6:00AM the protesters reassembled at the Square, then proceeded to Garfield Square.

Cincinnati Residents Occupied Fountain Square Throughout The Night Successfully Avoiding Arrest
CINCINNATI, OH--  From the late night hours of October 8^th through the early morning hours of October 9^th, a group of over 50 people continuously supported the occupation of Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati.  At 1:00 AM October 9^th, the legal permit secured by the members of Occupy Cincinnati to use the Fountain Square park expired.
Organizers were originally informed by police that if Occupy Cincinnati members did not evacuate the square at that time, they would be subject to arrest. At around 9:00 PM on the 8^th, the Cincinnati police met with a small group of organizers to explain that no arrests would occur until 3:00 AM on the 9^th, the posted time that the park actually closes. The Cincinnati police also informed the group that it was permissible to sleep in cars parked in legal parking spots and circulate the park by marching on the public sidewalks.
At around 2:00 AM approximately 75 people maintained their presence on the square in support of the occupation. A live stream was set up to provide real-time feedback from the square. Power and Wi-Fi access remained available. Police cars and vans lined up along adjacent streets preparing for possible arrests around 3:00 AM.
At 3:00 AM, the Cincinnati Police Department issued orders to disburse the approximately 85 protesters, most of whom were seated in solidarity near the middle of the square. Most protesters moved to the sidewalk to avoid arrest, but 10 remained. These 10 moved to the fountain about 3:30 AM and have occupied since then. They have refused to leave despite police requests.
Around 5:00 AM 10 people continued to occupy Fountain Square while a cleaning crew using power washers cleaned the square. Police presence grew on the square, and the occupiers were asked to leave.  The remaining group continued to show their support and solidarity by marching and chanting from the sidewalk surrounding the park.
Marchers on the sidewalk were informed around 4:00 AM by the Cincinnati Police that due to a city ordinance regarding sound restrictions at certain hours of the day that they needed to reduce the noise level.
While eight brave individuals maintained their occupation of Fountain Square, police chose not arrest anyone. Occupy Cincinnati maintained a peaceful protest and the Cincinnati Police Department was very professional and respectful to all individuals that occupied throughout the night.
Around 6:00 AM all marching protesters rejoined the ten individuals on Fountain Square.
The Occupy Cincinnati group is asserting the following unalienable rights regarding the right to free speech:
The right to free speech should not be limited to certain hours of the day.
Public property paid for by public taxes should not be unavailable to the public at any time of day.
At 6:00 AM protesters then marched to Garfield square. Breakfast was served around 7:00 AM. A general assembly is scheduled for 2:00 PM October 9^th in Garfield Park.

Occupy DC: Get Away Film Guy

I seen a video just a few minutes ago that detailed why Occupy DC did not want their General Assembly to be filmed.

It resulted with people putting their hands up, and a piece of clothing in the camera view to block faces saying, "step to the back dog." Some of the people in the crowd agreed that they did not want to be recorded. The camera man, Adam Kokesh, made it clear that if people do not want to be recorded at a public event, they should not attend.

One of the two that stepped aside the crowd to talk to Adam Kokesh, called him a republican, then apologized shortly after. The other said that what if someone was abused that was your friend asked to not be filmed. Someone waved a lighter in the camera while Adam Kokesh was talking to the woman. The man and woman who stepped aside are unknown.

Reading some of the comments on YouTube, a person believes that this is not the same type of protesters that were being filmed last week. 

Occupy Sacramento: Prepare for Arrests or Leave

Tuning in around 3:20AM, Occupy Sacramento has been informed that they must leave the park. The police say they believe it is an unlawful protest.

There has been no arrests yet.

3:39AM: According to the camera man, there is around 50+ cops there, if not more. People are not being hand cuffed, instead are being lead away.

3:45: Police officers continue to lead protesters away from the park. Protesters continue to cheer, and chant. Camera man walks around "shaming" the officers. The police seem to show no sign of brutality, however appear to be ready for any violence. The protesters on the other side of the street appear to not be arrested.

4:09AM: It appears it is over. The officers peacefully lead the protesters one by one away. Other protesters are still across the street, walking around, some are watching directly. The camera man said around 100

The police are saying, "Stay walking, and spread out." Also, in a police interview with their local news, there is a confirmed 13 arrests, and the arrests occurred due to the park closing at 12:00AM, and failure to leave when ordered.

They are also going to attend a meeting an attempt to override park hours for protest.

Occupy Worcester: First General Assembly

A new Occupy is taking grounds in Massachusetts. According to their Facebook Event 90 people will be attending at The Worcester Commons located behind City Hall Sunday October 9, 2011 - 1:30PM, at the time of writing this.

We are gathering in the commons to exchange ideas on how to bring about change in Worcester, the US, and our world.

Occupy Worcester is also handing out flyers for their movement in multiple languages.

Occupy Cincinnati Estimates 1,000 7 block March

Occupy Cincinnati has just informed the world that they are 1,000 strong stretching around 7 blocks.

The march is heading to Fountain Square, and appears to be hoping for more to meet at 4PM.


I spoke to I believe is one of the organizers, and she said they started off with roughly 700 people, and throughout the march collected about 1,000 or more in total.

Occupy Together Goes to Meetup

Occupy Together, a website that has encouraged many people to send their Occupy information to them for organization has went to Meetup. For better organization.

From what I can see, there is now 1,081 cities being Occupied. Listed though are 5,536 Occupiers.

There are still Facebook groups, and Pages that are listed for specific Occupys, but it appears they are showing up on Meetup.

Down with evil corporations

Some of the crowd (internet) are taking their piece by pointing out how protesters are utilizing the some of the corporations they are allegedly protesting against. While all the protesters may not be gathered for the same reasons, they appear to be in unison approach towards the slogan "We are the 99%."

NYPD Prepared for Arrests, Deployed Nets

Title edited for update  / conclusion below.

During a march on Wall St., the New York Police Department is reportedly preparing to make more arrests according to the live stream provided by Global Revolution.

The protesters are preparing for the event by relaying messages to each other about what they are going to do, stay calm, and record as much as possible. Reports of buses being sent in.

Update: Some decided to march away back to Liberty Plaza. Police have not appeared to stop or corner them.

According to someone on the live stream, NYPD may have arrested one or two people, hit some with a baton, and maced some. It's unclear how many.

Update 10:52PM Oct 5.: The NYPD is currently attempting to catch and arrest as many protesters as possible. They are cornering them in, through various methods. It is unclear what the protesters are doing. The NYPD has been ordering the protesters to get on the sidewalk. Reports and videos are also coming in of police brutality. There has been a reported 20+ arrests, but there are no confirmations as of yet.

Update 11:30PM: An Occupy Wall St. media team member has been arrested. Nothing else was added.

Occupy Seattle to Leave or get Arrested

SPD (Seattle Police Department) will issue an eviction notice to Occupy Seattle protesters between 1:00PM-1:30PM PDT at Westlake Park. If they do not leave, they will be arrested reportedly.

Several tents were setup, and many activists attended.

Senator Sanders on Occupy Wall St.

On MSNBC's The Ed Show, with Ed Shultz Sanders continues to voice his opinions about the economy, protests, and banks.


Ed: Good to have you with us tonight. Bernie, I want you to address Romney's comments about "It's dangerous."

Sanders: Well class warfare is dangerous. The only problem is the wrong class is winning. What is happening now, is you have the wealthiest in this country becoming more wealthy. [..] Millions of people lost their jobs, their homes, their life savings, and you know what the punishment was for the people on Wall St.? They got hire compensation benefits.

Class Action has been Filed against the City of New York, NYPD, others

Since the 700 arrests on the Brooklyn Bridge, a class action lawsuit has been filed yesterday, against the City of New York, among others.

After escorting and leading  a group of demonstrators and others well out onto the Brooklyn Bridge roadway, the NYPD suddenly and without warning curtailed further forward movement, blocked the ability of persons to leave the Bridge from the rear, and arrested hundreds of protestors in the absence of probable cause. This was a form of entrapment, both illegal and physical.

It also goes on with:

Instead, the NYPD engaged in a performance, videotaped it, and sprang their trap. They then set their PR machine into motion, distributing widely edited videos of events to spin a false narrative of events to the public and media.

And:

This complaint seeks, in addition to monetary compensation, injunctive relief enjoining defendants from engaging in the challenged conduct in the future, and order nullifying the arrests, and expunging all arrest records.

Occupy Dallas: October 6, Federal Reserve

October 6, 2011 is the date Occupy Dallas will be marching the Federal Reserve.

Occupy Dallas, and its members are going to meet at Pike Park, 2851 Harry Hines Blvd at 9:00AM, to march to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, 2200 North Pearl Street.

According to the Facebook event created 991 people are attending at the time of writing this.

Occupy Houston dates October 6, 2011 for march to JP Morgan

Occupy Houston, one of the many Occupy protest movements have made a date on October 6, 2011 to meet at 8:30AM at Market Square Park. Afterward they will make their way to the J.P. Morgan Chase tower.

Petitions are Circulating

Following up on the petitions that were put in place by members of the Occupy movement(s), they are continuing to circulate through online social networks.

However this one I am not sure if this was put in place by any of the Occupy members. Titled "Please Hold Ethiopia Accountable for Using America's Aid Money as a Weapon of War and Stop the Genocide in the Ogaden," has been circulating today, which was created on September 22, 2011 only five days after the protest started on Wall St.. At this moment the petition has 1,211 signatures. An excerpt:

We understand that the United States has a valuable strategic relationship with the government of Ethiopia. However, we believe it is of fundamental importance to ensure that in our relationships with all government on the African continent and around the world, the United States demonstrate a steadfast commitment to human rights, good governance, and justice.

The second titled "Recognize the men and women who are occupying wall street," created September 23, 2011 with 8,572 signatures, six days after the protest started (September 17, 2011). An excerpt: 

Mr.Obama, this is a petition for you to publicly recognize, whether in a live speech, or in one of your weekly youtube addresses, the #occupywallstreet movement that is currently taking place in NYC.These men and women are trying to send a message to their fellow Americans and to the world- the big banks and the super-rich, who is "buying out congress", are the primary drivers of the ongoing recession.

These petitions only require 5,000 individual signatures.

NYPD Saws Girl's Bike

The crowd stood back and watched the New York Police Department saw a girl's bike in half. It's not clear why they were doing this.

The video is not very clear in quality, but you can hear the saw being active. The man taping the incident said it's a "concrete demolition saw."

New York Times continue to Lie about Brooklyn Bridge Arrests

Yesterday 700 people were arrested for what appeared to be "protesting." The Occupy Wall St. movement was performing a normal day's agenda of going through various parts of the city while others went other places.

Upon their upcoming walk was the Brooklyn Bridge, and it appeared that many of people felt OK to take the Brooklyn-bound road, because reportedly, no one received any warnings to go any where else.

I've found two videos, including a step by step video of what took place, according to Occupy Wall St.. This video will demonstrate that there appeared to be no confusion, and police unraveling the orange net, as-well as marching behind the protesters preparing to arrest them all. Some walked away, however police did not seem to care.

The New York Times will show you the video of the police arresting and going in-circles with protesters, but what they will not show you is the full clip that demonstrated peace among the protesters. Some struggled, but were finally broke away from the crowd.

In the description of the above video, you will see: 

NY Times reporter arrested on the scene with the protestors initially reported police allowed them to enter the Brooklyn Bridge, then blocked them in and arrested them. The NY Times changed their story to match the official police version 20 minutes later, saying the protestors entered the bridge despite repeated warnings not to enter the bridge.

Still, this is what the New York Times is reporting, even after countless videos of people explaining what took place. Who is lying? The mass count of people? I'm interested to find out, but from what I'm seeing, the New York Times is lying and attempting to promote violence through misinterpretation, and mal-information.

Interview with Robert Schiele, and Bruce Wagner

October 1st, 12-2PM

I wanted to take this a step further, and interview a couple of people that are either taking part in the Occupy Movement, or simply want to voice their opinion.

I was able to contact two people, Mr. Schiele, and Mr. Wagner. Both of them giving their thoughts and advice to the Occupy Movement.

What is your view on the Occupy Movement?

I'm very favorable towards it. I'm excited about it. Everything I've heard, and read about it, and seen is extremely positive. 

Based on what you seen? What do you think Occupy Wall St. is? or their motive? Or any of the occupy movements?

Well speaking strictly as a fan, I'm certainly not on the inside of any of this--it appears what they're trying to do is get people to come out of their shells and have a dialog with each other about the problems the US is facing. Economic, political, what have you -- and problems other people in the world are facing. I think it's an honest effort to bypass the traditional political processes, and the mainstream media as far as our dependency for news is concerned - to get people to engage and hopefully try to reach some sort of consensus of what our problems are. And in the longer term, how we'll begin to deal with some of those problems.

What is your view on the Occupy Movement?

What's my view? Well I think it's a wonderful thing. It's kind of about time. I've been reading the Twitter stream for the hashtag Occupy, and Occupy Wall St. Someone said recently for the first time she really has hope. [..] They call it Wall St., the mega-rich-global bankers that control everything [..] the government is a puppet of them.

Wagner also goes on to tell that George Carlin explains why people are taking the streets, and how the system works.

How could Bitcoin be utilized?

A group of people contacted me, and said would you come down? We want to meet with the people at Occupy Wall St., to get them setup with Bitcoin. And by the time they got there, we were surprised that not only do they have Bitcoin setup, but they have a special Bitcoin address specifically for the Live feed. 

Occupy Movement in general, what advice would you give to them as a whole?

Keep it up, be relentless, do not get discouraged. Make no mistake the global bankers, the mega rich greedy global are terrified. [...] You are winning. [..] The only thing that makes a difference is your bodies in the street.

(With Audio) Innocent People Being Arrested at Brooklyn Bridge in New York

Confirmed below that people were allowed & trapped




People are being innocently arrested at Brooklyn Bridge for apparently no reason. The almost 20,000 people that tuned in, seen the unnecessary arrests made by police.

The protest or "march" on the bridge was peaceful and actions by police some called unacceptable. One officer, appeared to be arresting a young female.

The crowd of protesters stood back cheered on their fellow protesters, chanting "Hey hey, ho ho. Corporate greed has got to go."


People are reporting that they trapped. 350 according to the stream, and 75 700 confirmed arrested. Media team may have also been arrested.

Update 7:21PM: I've been able to re-watch the pre-recorded version and the camera operator said that they are in-fact trapping them in.

I've also captured the pictures of what looks like a young girl that was being arrested. Before this, she was talking on a phone I believe. (I should note her age is not yet confirmed, she only appears to be underage)

As-well as another angle of the bridge & arrest.

From what I'm hearing, they are loading people onto buses.

Updated 10:50PM:
Here's the full video without signal drops, and an edit that has been posted to YouTube. One by one these people are taken from the crowd and put under arrest. Including the young girl being arrested. At 8 minutes in, a man struggles to not go with the police officers, and is yanked even harder finally being broke away from the crowd - He appears to get slammed to the ground afterwards.

The crowd also relays messages to each other by saying and repeating "mic check" to make sure they hear each other. Afterward saying "If you get arrested, tell us your name"

An arrested member provides an audio account of what happened on the brooklyn bridge, october 1st, 2011 with the protestors of occupywallst and the NYPD. NOTE NYPD leading the march onto the bridge, without any words of warning or attempts to derail the march. Normally, you are not allowed to step off the sidewalk without a reprimand and warning.
I would like to add, Almost all cops encountered in blue shirts were very nice people, just having to do their jobs. We respect them and their families, as we respect all. We want you to understand, we are doing this for all of you as well.

[..] This was one of the bigger marches of the week - The evening march of Saturday. We were walking the Brooklyn Bridge. The cops were walking along, and allowing people onto the bridge. There were people that were on the pedestrian pathway. [..] Very quickly the cars were stopped by police, and the lane suddenly opened up. Which caused us to start running to close the gaps. and then there was about 200-300 police that either stopped the rest of the protest, or followed up the back of, and they were marching in a line of the back of the Brooklyn Bridge so we had no exit. At the front the same thing was happening.
